Hunter Johnson's unexpected father, Casey Johnson, and his wife Bretney are getting divorced right after Hunter and Bella get back together.

Shortly after Unexpected star Bella Vaughan announced that she and Hunter Johnson are back together, Hunter’s stepmother announced that she and Hunter’s father, Casey Johnson, are getting divorced.

“Now that we have told the majority of our family and friends it is time to go public and debunk the rumors,” Brettney began in her Facebook announcement on Thursday. “Casey and I decided to get divorced and it was a really difficult decision. The hardest decision of my life.”

Brettney assured her friends and followers that the split is amicable. “We are fine and we made the decision by mutual agreement,” he wrote.

“It’s no wonder we’ve been through a lot lately and it’s come to a point where we really want to focus on the children’s happiness.” It is likely that Custody battles for Hunter. and grandson wesleyas well as media attention from Hunter Unexpectedare a big part of what Brettney referenced recently.

“We are still co-parenting all 3 kids,” Brittney continued. “Ten years is a long time, but for the most part it was a beautiful 10 years. I wouldn’t take it back for a moment. Please respect our privacy and say some prayers. 🖤”

A search of Arkansas court records does not show a divorce filing for the couple.

A search reveals a lawsuit filed against Casey by a collection agency for unpaid credit card debts on May 20. According to the complaint, the amount owed is less than $900. There was also a default judgment against Casey in March for unpaid medical bills totaling just under $1,500.

BELLA AND HUNTER ARE BACK TOGETHER
