The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Raquel Fuda He had a successful two-season run on the show.
However, after a long hiatus, the show chose not to pursue it for a third season.
Rachel recently appeared on Kim De Paola‘s Get real with Kim D podcast and gave his opinion on the new cast.
He pointed out that even when Danielle Cabral and Rachel joined the show, it seemed – and seems now – “not authentic.”
“When you look at the original seasons of Orange County…this is a group of intertwined friendships who have dirt on each other…they’ve been through things together. “They have history.”
Kim shared similar sentiments, noting, “They know each other. They know their husbands, they’re brothers, they’re sisters… This show is amazing. These girls are so real. With these new girls that come from different races and creeds and colors, it’s just to me, I don’t… I don’t see what fits.”
Rachel also pointed out that each Housewives franchise has its own. identity.
“Beverly Hills is about opulence… New Jersey is about family. Like everyone has their own identity,” he shared.
“So, I wonder if that’s what connects them all to come full circle.” he added, suggesting what the identity of the new cast could be.
As reality ad previously confirmed, the new cast members will comprise Xiomara Laracuente and Juliette Collazo, Natia Rufolo, Vanessa Barrierand Deeba Patel.
Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorgaand Dolores Catania They are the only members of the original cast who will return to the show.
While there were rumors that the production might consider bringing back other older cast members, a source revealed in May that wasn’t the case at the time.
“No one involved has been told anything about any cast members returning, other than Teresa, Melissa and Dolores,” the source shared at the time, noting that any rumors to the contrary were “not true.”
