Scots singer Talia Storm has paid tribute to her father following his sudden death in Switzerland. glasgowThe Capital Scotland-born former host of Breakfast shared the devastating news on her social media on Thursday night.
27 year old, who is brooklyn beckham’s ex-girlfriendhas paid an emotional tribute to her father Sasha Hartman, calling him her “world,” “hero” and “the inspiration behind her music career.”
Talia’s father died yesterday in Lugano, Switzerland. He moved there in December with Talia’s mother, Tessa Hartman, “to start a new chapter in their lives.”
As well as Talia, the couple raised three others Children – Valentina, Johnny, and Zachary.
“I have no words. My heart is broken. I can’t understand any of this. Our world is shattered and will never be the same,” Talia wrote on Instagram.
“My amazing father. You were my world, and you always will be. I am in shock. Please pray for my family. Please pray for my precious mother.
“I have never felt this kind of pain in my life. My amazing, wonderful, selfless, kind, caring father. My hero. He taught me everything I know. My dream of music came from my father, he was the greatest musician, the greatest artist I have ever known.
“I can’t find the words right now, but please pray for us all. Rest in peace, my incredible, wonderful father, Sasha Hartman. I love you forever.”
Talia rose to fame as a teenager after being championed by music icon Sir Elton John. She has had a successful career as a singer, TV Presenter and media personality.
His father was a distinguished musician, composer and artist. The family tragedy was also addressed by Talia’s mother, a businesswoman and outfit Entrepreneur Tessa Hartman, who was married to her husband for nearly 30 years.
He wrote on Instagram, “Sometimes there are words you never imagined you would have to write in your entire lifetime…
“Sasha was one of a kind. A true gentleman… He had talent beyond words – an extraordinary artist, a beautiful composer and pianist… But above all, he was the most devoted father…“We were supposed to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary this August. Instead, I’m organizing his funeral. I keep asking God for the strength to understand why this happened, knowing I’ll never get the answer…“The last 24 hours have flown by in a blur. We are completely heartbroken. More heartbroken than I ever imagined… Sasha, we loved every single part of you… Your amazing mind. Your music. Your beautiful piano playing. We will continue to play your songs, tell your stories, and carry your love with us for the rest of our lives.”
Funeral arrangements are expected to take place in Lugano next week.
Tessa founded the Scottish Fashion Awards in 2006 and is one of its original cast ITVBe’s Real Housewives of Jersey.
