A host of famous faces attended Scotland’s clash with Brazil in Miami – although not all were supporting Steve Clarke’s side
Scotland may have to suffer losses Disappointing 3-0 defeat to Brazil in Miami last night, but the star-studded crowd made sure there was plenty happening off the pitch as celebrities flocked to the Sunshine State to watch the Scottish national team’s third group game.
thousands of members of tartan army traveled across the Atlantic for the match, turning parts of Miami into a sea of tartan as supporters soaked up the atmosphere in the stadium before kick-off. Whereas Steve Clark’s side Struggling to get a win over the five-time world champion, fans were determined to make the most of the occasion.
This much awaited game also attracted many people famous facesHollywood actors, musicians and football royalty were all seen in the stands. Here are all the stars who were in attendance for the Scotland vs Brazil clash on June 24.
Gerard Butler
The Paisley-born actor and Hollywood alum was spotted at the game as he sat in cozy VIP box seats with his girlfriend Morgan Brown. Both Gerrard and Morgan, who have been on and off since 2014, were on top for Scotland as they appeared on TV screens before VAR was called on the second goal before the first hydration break.
Despite Scotland losing 3-0 to Brazil, it looked to be an enjoyable night for the How to Train Your Dragon star. It appears that Gerrard enjoyed most occasions with a whiskey or two, as he was regularly seen with a drink in hand whenever he appeared on screen.

Although the singer, who hails from Bishopbriggs, was not seen in the live broadcast of the game, she was present in the stands with fans while updating her social media accounts from outside the stadium.
Taking to Instagram, Amy uploaded a photo of herself outside the Miami stadium wearing a Scotland top and kilt with a Saltire flag hanging from her bag.
He captioned the post: “I’m so proud of my little country. What a pleasure to be here.” Despite the results, she uploaded an Instagram Story of herself partying after the game, writing “We’re still happy” on the photo.
Matthew Broderick
The Ferris Bueller’s Day Off actor appeared to be attending the Brazil clash from the VIP hospitality box, although he was not wearing a Scotland or Brazil shirt, leaving fans wondering where his loyalties lay. However, when the television cameras lingered on him briefly during the match, viewers saw a São Paulo Football Club strip draped over the back of his seat.
Matthews also agreed to the role that made him a household name with the role of Ferris Bueller behind the Brazilian team’s strip.
David Beckham
The camera cut to David Beckham a few times during the broadcast and in one particular moment he was seen taking a large sip of red wine from the stands. The Inter Miami CF co-owner sat inside a VIP box with other high profile stars traveling to the Miami stadium.
Dressed in a brown blazer and brown T-shirt, David looked relaxed, clearly unaffected by the blistering 30-degree heat in sunny conditions.
This is not the first game the former England footballer has attended, earlier on the night he attended the England vs Ghana game in Boston as they suffered a goalless draw.
Cruz Beckham and Jackie Apostel
David Beckham Beckham was not alone at the Scotland match, with his youngest son Cruz, 21, sitting between his father and girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
However it’s clear that Cruz was showing his support for the Brazilian side, given that his 30-year-old girlfriend is from Sao Paulo, Brazil. When the pair stood up to watch the match, they were dressed in Brazilian attire.
Jackie was smiling from ear to ear in the stands as she watched her national team win against Scotland.
