Andy Cohen shared how they determine whether a newbie housewife will be fired, revealed the “two most important factors” and hinted that she “beat” her in the meeting.

Andy began to introduce the Real Housewives of Orange County Reunions almost 20 years ago. Some castmates have reportedly been fired for refusing to appear before them. Over the years, several ‘Housewives’ were fired after just one season.

In Newport Beach Television FestivalAndy answered fans’ questions.

“Some people think every Housewife should have two seasons to find her niche and prove herself,” the podcaster wrote. Gibson Johnsin a clip shared on your instagram. “What does the decision not to give someone a second chance to resolve it entail?”

“That’s a good question,” Andy said on stage. “And, you know, there are so many times where we go to a meeting and I start thinking, oh, well, this person is unique. And then we do the meeting and I think, you know what? Wow, really… A lot of times I’ve convinced myself at the end of a very long day.”

Andy said it’s “very difficult” to be on the show, “especially as a rookie.”

“But I think it’s about how did they connect with women? How did they connect with the audience? I mean, those are the two most important factors,” she revealed. “And where do we go from now on? What will be next year if that person comes back?”

At the same event in Newport Beach, the executive producer hinted at the themes of RHOC season 19.

“Last Orange County season…we got into the weeds on a lot of things that happened (in the past)”Andy explained. “We used to never break the fourth wall. I remember a scene, I think in the second or third season of Orange County… lauri He could have been showing up at the convention center. And I was like, (why) does she show up? And they say, because she’s a housewife from Orange County. I was like, we don’t acknowledge that on the show.”

“Obviously now,” he continued. “I think we really want to tell the story of what’s happening in women’s lives, their children, their marriages and their friendships, and not about what it’s like to be on Real Housewives of Orange County.”
