Will Arnett is staying mum about his marriage to Amy Poehler.
The “Arrested Development” star snapped at his “Smartless” podcast co-host Jason Bateman after he asked if Arnett had ever pooped in front of the “Parks and Recreation” actress.
“Will, have you ever pooped in front of Amy?” Bateman, 57, asked in Monday’s episode.
“Are you looking for clicks?” Arnett hit back. “Are you trying to get something we can click on?”
The ‘Ozark’ alum then continued to try to ask Arnett the question – despite his initial response.
“I always forget that people listen to this. Wait, but wait a minute. You were married to her, had two kids. You never went to the bathroom in front of each other?” Bateman asked again.
Arnett, 56, replied: “I’m sorry. The question is, did I poop in front of Amy? And you say I have no manners? What are you talking about?”
When Bateman said he believed it was “a good question,” Arnett disagreed.
“It’s not a good question. I refuse to answer it. I refuse to answer it. It’s none of your business,” the “Is This Thing On?” said voice actor.
Arnett then said his ex-wife “will be outraged” by Bateman’s comments.
Arnett and Poehler were married from 2003 to 2016 and share two sons: Archie, 17, and Abel, 15. (The actor is also a dad to Alexander, whom he welcomed with his ex Alessandra Brawn in 2020.)
In Poehler’s 2014 memoir, “Yes please,” she candidly explained why she rarely talks about her divorce.
“I don’t want to talk about my divorce because it’s too sad and too personal,” she wrote, noting that she doesn’t talk about it because she “doesn’t like people knowing her either.”
However, the “SNL” alum said she wanted to clear up “a few things.”
“I am proud of the way my ex-husband, Will, and I have cared for our children; I am beyond grateful that he is their father; and I don’t think that (almost) ten years of marriage means failure,” she wrote.
“That said, divorce really sucks.”
