I’m back from the mountains of Virginia
Last Sunday (which I didn’t know I wasn’t running Screencaps until Saturday night) and several days before that, I was in the mountains of Virginia. We weren’t there specifically to search everywhere for Bigfoot, but I always have my eyes open for evidence of that sneaky bastard.
I, once again, found none. Not a single hair, not a footprint, not even any sign of a cool fort where one could sleep. Nothing, no evidence of anything. Bigfoot He does it once they have worked eight hours straight in the office. Put another one in the profit column for cryptid.
In that sense, I have a Capturing Bigfoot Document update. For those who don’t know what the documentary is, it investigates some never-before-seen footage related to the famous 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film and explores it as a possible hoax. It made a splash at SXSW in March.
Some readers asked me to watch it, and while it was rumored to be coming to a streaming platform a couple of weeks ago, it didn’t. So, I contacted the creators of the documentary and they told me they were working on releasing it on a streaming platform.
As of today, he is still not in any of the majors. Although it seems to be on something called MUBI, which I’ve never heard of and if I can figure out how to watch it there, I will.
The first puck drop of the NHL playoffs included a fight.
Captains Brady Tkachuk of the Ottawa Senators and Jordan Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes took off their gloves three seconds into the first game of the series and set the tone for the entire playoffs.
There aren’t many things better than playoff hockey fights. Game 7s are up there and the tradition of playoff boobs is hard to beat, but it’s beautiful to see gloves hitting the ice followed by fists flying in the playoffs.
This sets the tone for the playoffs. If we’re in for a year of playoff hockey fights, then you’re going to have a lot more casual viewers, which is good for the game. Carolina won Game 1 of the series 2-0, handing another Canadian team another loss on the ice.
Sabrina Carpenter’s music video is a flop
– Ken writes:
If you think Sabrina Carpenter’s lingerie music video with some friends is a work of art, you should stop watching porn and get out more.

First, how dare you? art is in the eyes of the beholder. Secondly, I won’t be “going out anymore,” whatever that means, and I don’t see at all what a music video has to do with pornography. You’re the one who brings the two together, which seems to me like you could stand to hit the brakes.
Imagine reading everything I posted and this is your opinion. Relax, Ken. It’s not that serious, not everything is. Sometimes a music video with a lot of lingerie is just entertainment that distracts you from how bad the song is.
Good day to you.
Montana Beef!
-Montana Tim writes:
MT checking in after the SeanJo smoking holiday action! Since I’m not drunk and lost in the calendar this week, I thought I’d share some Christmas meat photos. Chicken, pork and beef made their presence known! They told me to stop slacking off on desserts, so I added them to the menu! I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend! We start with the birds. They turned out well! Next was the pork tenderloin. They turned out so well that I didn’t even take a photo of them before they were snapped up!

Big meat!
We stuffed some onions with a ground beef concoction that was pretty good. I’ll have to modify it to move forward. They were delicious though!

Prime Time in Montana!
I infused the rib with fresh rosemary. Beef and rosemary are very close buds! They seem to do everything together. Crushed roasted garlic topped with a very tasty rosemary sauce! Add the smoked pineapple and vegetables and you have a nice little Easter dinner!

Belizean brownies, baby!
Being Easter and all, I had to do it big! Belizean chocolate fits the bill! Excellent! Add a couple of vanilla balls topped with a delicious blueberry compote and that’s as close to heaven as you’ll get! Beyond good! I hope everyone at OutKick Land has a great spring and a better summer! A big birthday is coming up, so everyone is planning to do it big, baby! Until next time SeanJo. Smoke a lot and eat well! MOUNTAIN…..

Thank you, Montana Tim, for sending your meat. As always, you went big and did not disappoint. Your home grill gets quite a workout and was busy once again this Easter. Desserts are always a plus. I hope you and yours enjoy it and have a great Easter.

That’s all for this Sunday morning in April. I need to drink more coffee. I started late yesterday with the selection of Screencaps content, although I think it still meets normal quality standards.
The delay in departure is my fault. I insisted on doing yard work earlier that day, with a haircut in between, even though I knew I would be busy later.
Shane Gillis was in town and I was in the rafters of a packed Spectrum Center in Charlotte, laughing out loud for a couple of hours. Mark Normand also came on stage, and I’m terrible at remembering new names, so I don’t remember who the opener was, but everyone killed it.
It was a great show and worth the fight this morning. A complicated fight because my coffee machine broke down a couple of days ago. I rely on my wife’s pod until the replacement arrives, and it’s just not the same as the giant cup of coffee I’m used to starting the day with.
The inbox is open. I want to see your meat. Send it. I’ll take anything and everything else too sean.joseph@outkick.com. go ahead me on twitter and more on Instagram and feel free to swipe into direct messages.
