RHORI Finale Recap: Rulla Breaks Down Over Brian's Cheating Drama While Confirming Video With His Lover After Gary Calls Him Out For Claiming Jo-Ellen Is A Liar, Plus, Alicia's Fiancé Billy Proposes To Her Again After 9 Years And Jo-Ellen And Liz Reconcile

The season finale of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island ends with a trip to Block Island and an explosive arrest. Kelsey has decided to host in an effort to get the group back together, but there are too many fires to put out first. But, if Kelsey can (sort of) make peace with rosieEverything is possible!

Everyone is busy packing for Block Island. Liz She goes on this trip trying to be carefree, but she doesn’t hold her breath because Jo-Ellen will behave the same way. Rosie just wants to have fun and Liz is excited to go to her engagement and wedding venue.

Husbands and boyfriends will also attend this trip. At the ferry meeting point, a fake hug ensues between Liz and Jo-Ellen, and Jo-Ellen compares their friendship to “an abusive relationship” that she keeps returning to.

Rulla and brian They are the last to arrive and things are… strange. Rulla has “mixed feelings” about being trapped on an island with Jo-Ellen. An hour later, they arrive at the destination, but it’s cold and windy, which isn’t exactly the vibe Kelsey was going for.

As they squeeze into some cabins, Jo-Ellen and Liz decide to take a walk to maybe try to move on. Jo-Ellen wonders if Liz thinks they have a genuine friendship. In the heat of the moment, things have been done and said that have broken trust, but Liz suggests they start over from a new place. Jo-Ellen just wants to move on and Liz is willing to do it. They hug and the tension rises.

Before Jo-Ellen and Liz rejoin the group, Rulla thanks the other girls for supporting her. He admits that he hasn’t spoken to Jo-Ellen since the polo. The stress of all this has taken its toll on her, and according to Rulla, it doesn’t seem like Jo-Ellen is really a real friend to her. However, to some of the ladies it seems that Rulla does not want to accept reality and that she simply continues defending her husband. brian.

Alicethe promised Club chats with Jo-Ellen’s husband about the lack of a wedding. He feels like he has let Alicia down. Alice loves a good fairy tale, but his proposal ten years ago didn’t really seem romantic. Billy won’t even kneel and believes a new proposal might be just what they need to reset.

Rulla makes it clear that this video that Jo-Ellen showed everyone in the castle is nobody’s business. He wants to handle his story his way. But in the meantime, Rosie tells Jo-Ellen the latest news.

Rulla knows (courtesy of Rosie) that there is a video circulating with Brian and his lover. When Brian approached, he was bright red after being confronted. Brian dismissed the video as fake, but Jo-Ellen refuses to be called a liar. Rosie points out that it’s easier for Rulla to call Jo-Ellen a liar than it is to admit that her husband is cheating on her. The proof is there…and Rulla DID ask Jo-Ellen the facts. Jo-Ellen didn’t go to investigate the drama at random.

They head to the Atlantic Inn and find their quaint rooms. Jo-Ellen is happy to inform her husband that things between her and Liz are better now. But when it comes to Rulla, Jo-Ellen won’t let the mouse go. Rulla was the one who asked Jo-Ellen for proof of the matter and when she went to Rulla with the evidence, Jo-Ellen certainly shouldn’t be called a liar just because Rulla can’t handle it.

Before the rest of the group arrives, Billy takes Alicia somewhere romantic. Alicia admits that Billy never does anything like that for her, and that’s why when he makes a gesture like this, it leaves her speechless. He takes Alicia’s engagement ring off her finger and redoes the proposal, but this time, he gets down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage (again, after 10 years). This is a reset symbol: now is the time to move on.

Rosie and Rich shout congratulations from the window and Alicia suggests renewing their proposal every ten years. Alicia lets Billy know that she wants a new ring, one that’s so big it will fall off her hand. Maybe THEN she’ll start thinking about the wedding…

Jo-Ellen visits Rulla’s room. He wants to clear things up with Rulla and claims that he’s not trying to overdo it: he just got the proof Rulla asked for. Jo-Ellen doesn’t want Brian to call her a liar when she’s been honest and told the truth. Rulla has no intention of watching this video, considering that anyone can fake a date and time stamp. All of this is too delicate for Rulla to handle. Jo-Ellen lets Rulla know that she won’t bring it up again and they decide to leave it all to bed.

Meanwhile, Jo-Ellen’s husband takes Brian aside to confront him. Brian admits to being filmed (so the video IS real), but wants to try to get over all the drama. Jo-Ellen is making it difficult for him as she continues to expose all of his dirty dealings.

Later, at the clam bake, Kelsey announces that they’ll be playing a confessional game of clam, which makes Rulla a little nervous. Kelsey admits it’s a little shady, but it should make for good entertainment. The game starts off cheesily, reminiscing about your favorite summer memories, etc., but takes a turn when Rulla pulls out a shell that says, “What’s the most embarrassing thing your partner has done in public?” Strange.

Instead of answering, he passes the question to Jo-Ellen’s husband. When another question is: “who is the only person who will stab you in the back, but smile in your face?” Rulla responds and admits that he might have said Jo-Ellen earlier this summer, but today, his thoughts have changed. Rulla doesn’t think anyone in the group “fits that mold” and they refer to each other as “ride or die bitches.”

Brian gives a speech about how proud he is of the way Rulla handled all the awkwardness because now they’re the most popular and the one everyone talks about the most. That?! Rulla gets emotional talking about the support system around her and Jo-Ellen tells Alicia that she spoke to Rulla kindly and privately.

Rosie finds it strange that they’re blaming Jo-Ellen for all of Rulla’s angst, and Rosie points out that the real problem is sitting next to her and it’s Brian. Who, by the way, tells Rulla that he is happy that he put aside his “ego and pride for the good of our family.” The truth is that Rulla has no intention of divorcing this boy. In the end, Kelsey is very happy to find that the group seems healed and that everyone is on the same page.

Rosie’s house is still under construction, as is her friendship with Kelsey. And for now there are no children on the agenda. Jo-Ellen is working on her bond with her mother and putting the past with Rulla behind her, but she still communicates with Brian’s lover…

Liz and Dolores’ gummies have been launched and she will not only have a granddaughter, but also a son-in-law. Kelsey’s ex isn’t paying rent anymore and she’s finally learning how to write a check. My God. Ashley’s family is still holding on to Audrey’sand is making money through all his social media deals. Alicia and Billy are planning their wedding and she is trying to have more creative control over Pizza Mama. He’s also working on his own line of crack-ah.

Rulla forgave Brian for the video, but a month later, Brian found himself in a world of trouble. He pleaded not guilty to a domestic violence charge and Rulla filed a no-contact order against him. It turns out that Brian was arrested for tracking Rulla’s car. It seems like her car knows more about her marriage than she does! This is considered harassment, which in Rhode Island is considered domestic violence. Rulla had to take his car to the nearest police station to have the tracker removed.

Jo-Ellen claims Brian always gave her a weird vibe and shares that his lover picked him up from jail. What the fuck. Jo-Ellen seems vindicated, but Rulla has a hard time feeling “grateful” for everything Jo-Ellen was trying to bring to light. But now, where does Rulla go from here?
