Kissing your mother on the lips, especially like that,” he explained. “I mean, Emond, growing up, he never felt like his mother and the family around him loved him that much, and a child needs that unconditional love to develop a balanced view of themselves. He added, “I think what you’re seeing in that scene in Episode 1 is distorted love.”
