Sophia Grace revealed she’s adding another little one to her growing family, just over a year after welcoming daughter Athena.

Sophia Grace announced at the age of 23 that she is pregnant with her third child. The first Ellen DeGeneres Show guest shared the news on Instagram. Fans responded positively to the announcement.

Sophia wrote on Instagram: “We are so excited to meet you.” The post also featured her eldest, three-year-old River, and her current youngest, 18-month-old Athena, holding an ultrasound in a separate video posted to the same carousel.

She told me E! News“I would love to share it, and I would be thrilled to have him in my videos. But I feel like if he’s confident enough to be in it, maybe we can do that and it will be a lot of fun.”

Sophia Grace has no regrets about having young children
Grace kept her first pregnancy private and has since spoken about becoming a young mother.

She said: “I was quite young when I had River. I was 19, which I think is still quite young. I don’t regret anything I did because I’m quite happy with where I am now. When I had Athena I was 21, which is a bit older.”
The announcement received both support and criticism online. The post received criticism from some commentators, in addition to messages of support.
One comment under her post read: “I’m going to hold your hand when I say this – take it easy. Contraception is not illegal anymore.” Another said, “I feel like girls are having babies these days so they can keep their content going. I’m not saying it’s the only reason, but I feel like it’s a big part of it.” A third read: “Do you really have any other hobbies? Three kids and you’re barely 25.”

Supportive comments also appeared under the post, with some users defending Grace against the criticism.
One such comment read: “Imagine being a mother is the best thing that happened to her… and y’all are humiliating the way she chooses to live her life because you couldn’t do it… next. Congratulations girl!!”
Another commenter, who said she had her three children at 23, wrote: “23 with 3! Perfect age to have babies! At that age I already had mine. I’m now 50 with 3 boys aged 32, almost 29 and 28 with 2 grandchildren and one on the way! It’s the best!! Get them a young girl!! You and your little ones are beautiful.”
