Donald Trump’s approval rating drops to 34% as Americans sour on Iran war – poll

A new poll shows that Donald Trump’s popularity has fallen to an all-time low in his second term. The poll further states that the war in Iran is one of the most important factors affecting the numbers. Previously, a poll suggested that many Americans see Trump as an authoritarian leader.

Half of Americans say the war with Iran was not worth the cost

According to a recent poll, almost half of American citizens believe that the war in Iran was not worth the war, leading to another decline in Donald Trump’s popularity.

A recent poll from Reuters/Ipsos revealed that only one in four Americans agree that the war between the United States and Iran has been worth the money spent on it. The poll lasted five days and showed the president’s approval rating has fallen to 34 percent. This figure is the lowest point Trump’s ratings have fallen to in his second presidential term.

The war is considered a major factor in the ratings, and the poll also found that many Americans believe it has sparked long-term tensions between the two countries.

The findings also show that 35 percent of Americans are confident that the United States is now in a weaker position after the war with Iran. Moreover, only 23 percent of pollsters, including half of Republicans, noted that they feel differently. Moreover, when it comes to peace talks between the two countries, a majority shows no confidence in Trump. Based on the results, 63 percent of Americans think the peace deal signed by Trump will not last much longer between the two countries.

On the other hand, only 18 percent of citizens, consisting of Democrats and Republicans, believe that peace between Iran and the United States will continue after its signing.
