Alan Jackson made the final date of his Last call: one more for the Road Tour on May 17, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and he confirmed reports that it was last concert of his career on tour while on stage.
“You may have heard that I’m relaxing a little bit and, in fact, this is the last road show of my career,” Jackson told the fans in attendance, prompting a huge roar of support.
“You all will make me cry here,” he added. “But I will say that this is my last road show here, but we are planning to do a big final show in Nashville next summer.
“I felt like I had to end everything where it started. And that’s in Nashville, Tennessee, Music City.”

Why is Alan Jackson retiring?
The Country Music Hall of Fame member has been dealing with a chronic health issue for over ten years and it is getting worse.

jackson revealed in 2021 who had been living with a degenerative nerve disease called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease for a decade at the time. It causes nerve damage, mainly in the arms and legs.
According to the Mayo ClinicCharcot-Marie-Tooth disease causes muscle contractions and loss of sensation, making it difficult to walk.
Jackson’s three daughters are now adults and he and his wife, Denise, have two grandchildren, which also affected his decision to retire from the road.
“…I enjoy spending more time at home,” he said. “But my fans always come to have a good time and I’m going to give them the best show I can for this Last Call.”
