The Celebrity Traitors star has been in the comedy world since 2009 and has been candid about his early days in the comedy circuit. In a new interview, she explains how men used to be “embarrassed” at the thought of women telling jokes.

“When I was 30 and I tried to speak about predators in comedy, everyone assumed I was referring to them. russell brand. During the lengthy interview, Lucy – who was married to fellow comedian John Richardson for nine years before divorcing in April 2024 – also said that even her therapist finds her “weird”.

“The truth is that I was skeptical about the diagnosis until I was asked if I developed tics (repetitive, involuntary muscle movements) between the ages of seven and 11, which are often specific to ADHD. I couldn’t believe it! A shiver ran down my spine.”
Lucy became a household name when she participated in the 2009 competition So You Think You’re Funny, where she was named a finalist.
