Collin emphasized that the memoir was not created for “entertainment” purposes. “It is a story to instill in everyone the responsibility to defend and denounce the abuse, injustice and exploitation of children,” he continued. “I not only put my heart into this book for my younger self, but for EVERYONE who has faced unjust and openly atrocious acts as children. I am your voice. I am with you.”

The reality TV alum said revisiting those memories was difficult but ultimately empowering. “Writing this book forced me to relive some of the most difficult moments in my life, but it also gave me something I had been searching for for a long time: my voice,” she said.
