Ghosts showrunner Joe Port revealed that a crossover between the beloved CBS sitcom and his and Joe Wiseman’s latest series, the vampire comedy Eternally yourshas been discussed. Eternally yours will take Ghosts’ time slot in the fall season 2026, in motion Ghosts season 6 until midseason 2027. However, Ghosts will air two specials for Halloween and Christmas in 2026, addressing the Season 5 cliffhanger that saw Pete (Richie Moriarty) disappear after being away from Woodstone for too long.
Eternally yours is about a family of vampires and the people in their lives. The comedy stars Ed Weeks, Allegra Edwards, Helen J. Shen, Jaren Lewison, Parker Young, Rose Abdoo, Tristan Michael Brown and Shylo Molina. Weeks and Edwards play Charles and Liz, a vampire couple who have been married for 500 years and currently live in present-day Seattle. They feel like they are in a rut until their daughter’s human friend comes into their lives.
With their supernatural themes, Ghosts And Eternally yours could make for an exciting crossover. It would be the perfect way to introduce the new characters to viewers and draw a connection between the hit show and the latest edition of the CBS lineup. Now Port reveals whether it’s possible for this to actually happen.
Ghosts & Eternally Yours may have a crossover episode
In an interview with TV insiderPort shared that Ghosts And Eternally yours may have a crossover episode. He said, “Yes, I think that would be a lot of fun.”
Haven continued, “We’ve talked a little bit about what that might look like. Whether it’s vampires coming to Woodstone or whatever it ends up being, I think it would be really interesting to explore.”
A Ghosts/Eternally Yours crossover could be challenging for one reason
Although a cross between Ghosts And Eternally yours seems inevitable, there is one obstacle to the idea: Rose Abdoo appears in both shows, but as different characters. She plays TV producer Paula Ghostsand she will now play Phyllis Eternally yours.
However, Port has addressed the problem and he has a plan. He shared, “Of course, I think Rose Abdoo’s role in the future will be more of Phyllis on Eternally Yours since she’s a series regular on that, but I think a crossover episode would be really fun.”
There could be so many incredible stories in there a cross between Ghosts And Eternally yours. Since the vampires are 500 years old, it is possible that some of the oldest spirits, including Thorfinn and Sasappis, crossed paths with them while they were still humans, or that the other spirits knew them over the years. Moreover, Isaac’s biography was turned into a horror book called Isaac Higgintoot: Colonial vampireso the characters out Eternally yours might want to meet him.
Whether a crossover will ever happen between them Ghosts And Eternally yoursBoth shows are highly anticipated for the 2026-2027 TV season. A returning favorite, Ghosts keeps viewers on the edge of their seats after that shocking season 5 cliffhanger. Plus, fans are eagerly awaiting the premiere of Eternally yourshoping it will be as big a success as Ghosts. A crossover between the two shows would certainly be epic.
