The devil wears Prada 2 is officially heading home after becoming one of the biggest box office hits of the year.
The sequel will stream exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu on July 2920th Century Studios announced Tuesday (June 23).
Fans won’t have to wait long to own a physical copy either. The film will be available for purchase on digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at homestarting June 30followed by one 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray release on July 28.
Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily BluntAnd Stanley Tucci they all return for the sequel, which takes viewers back to the world of Runway Magazine. The film follows Andy Sachs as she returns to the publication as a new features editor, while Miranda Priestly faces new threats to her glossy print empire.
The sequel, directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKennahas already made a big impact in theaters. The film grossed over $676 million worldwide, which helped The devil wears Prada franchise crosses $1 billion mark.
The home release also includes bonus material including fashion and music featurettes, a gag reel, audio commentary from the filmmaker and the ‘Runway’ music video Lady Gaga And Doechii.
A The devil wears Prada 2-Movie Collection will also be available as a digital bundle and a physical DVD bundle.
Patrick Brammel also stars in the film as Andy’s new friend and at least one critic has said that his character felt like a “useless” addition to the film. His wife defended him in new comments.
