Scotland’s tartan army has officially taken over Miami.

Last week, Scotland fans in the United States to celebrate the country’s first World Cup in 28 years took the party to Boston, where thousands cheered on their team across the city.

The Boston Globe even wrote an emotional letter to the Tartan Army before the group left for South Florida for the final World Cup game against Brazil.

“Dear tartan army,
“You came for the World Cup, but you gave us something more.
“For one week, you turned train stations into places to sing, Fenway into a football field, and any given month of June into something we’ll talk about for years.
“Boston has been home to championships, parades and celebrations of all kinds, but we have never received guests like all of you.
“Thank you for the laughter, the bagpipes and the memories. The World Cup will go ahead. So will the songs, but we will never forget the joy you brought to our city.”

On Monday, the Tartan Army made its impact felt in Miami when thousands of Scots marched through the streets to attend a Marlins game.

When they arrived at the stadium, the Scottish fans immediately began to celebrate.

During the Marlins game, the Tartan Army could be heard singing and dancing in the crowd, creating an electric atmosphere.

The Scots kept the party going even after the Marlins game ended.
