PlayStation Plus has continued to demonstrate that, while it is unable to compete directly with Xbox Game Pass, it is capable of offering good value to its subscribers. However, for newcomers there is a major problem and that is that discounts are rarely offered. This can make choosing it over other subscription services, or even choosing it at all, a complicated prospect. So whenever you find a good deal, it’s worth at least researching it to see if, with the current selection of games available through the service, it’s a justifiable purchase.
Fortunately, at this time there are so many amazing games on PlayStation Plus playable through its Extra and Premium levels. Naturally, now is the perfect time to get on board, especially with the grand theft car 6 It launches in November. Better yet, for millions of people there is a huge discount available for PlayStation Plus, but only for an extremely limited time and only in certain regions.
Costco usually sells a four-pack PlayStation Gift Cards valued at $100 for $89.99, which can then be used to purchase a monthly or annual PS Plus subscription. It’s also selling a two-pack of $75 PlayStation gift cards valued at $150 for $134.99. These are already good deals, but since that’s their regular price, it’s not the discount players should rush for. Rather, for a limited time, Costco, exclusively for members, will further reduce prices on both packages.
The $84.99 four-pack of $25 gift cards is reduced by $5, leaving just $84.99. Similarly, the $134.99 bundle of two $75 gift cards will be reduced by $8, bringing it down to $126.99. That’s a lot of numbers to say that currently, over the next few days, those in the US and Canada can get huge PlayStation gift cards at significantly cheaper prices. It is also the perfect time, since PS Plus is getting big updates to improve the service. The downside, as mentioned above, is that these big savings don’t last long.
Costco has announced that these savings will only be available between June 22 and 26, 2026. That means, as of this writing, there are only about two days left before the deal ends. Additionally, customers can only purchase a limited quantity of each product per purchase. You can buy only 3 of the $89.99 package and 2 of the $134.99 package. Of course, unfortunately, this offer is only available to those with a Costco membership and those located in the US or Canada.
For those elsewhere, or those simply missing out, Sony offers official discounts on PlayStation Plus subscriptions specifically from time to time to incentivize new subscribers; So this won’t be the last time a PS Plus membership is discounted. Also, it is definitely not advisable to purchase any of the packages simply because they are discounted. It is always worth considering future discounts and the current value of the service. Still, for those eager to get a cheaper price PS Plus subscription, this Costco deal may be the perfect option.
