In another photo, Hemings posed hand-in-hand with Tallulah, 32, who held a small puppy in her arms for the snapshot.

Other photos revealed that Hemings’ party included a taco truck, a two-tier cake and a large crowd of friends — but the model revealed in the caption that she initially thought she’d do nothing special to celebrate her 50th birthday amid her husband Bruce’s ongoing battle with FTD (frontotemporal dementia).

Recalling that a friend kept asking her, “What are we doing for your 50th birthday?” Heming wrote that his “answer was always the same, nothing.”

“If I’m honest, I’m not particularly into the social or festive season of life,” she continued. But the friend persisted, and Hemings eventually wrote that he “began to imagine what the celebration might look like.”

“Friends and family gathered at the house,” he wrote. “Tacos. Margaritas. Chocolate cake. And not the dense, fancy kind. The fluffy Duncan Hines kind, because that’s my favorite.”

Hemings wrote that the more he thought about it, the more he “realized that milestones really matter. And if there’s one worth celebrating, it’s 50.”

“I don’t ever want to look back on my life with regret,” Hemings reflected. He found himself “wondering what Bruce would have done for my 50th.”

“If you knew what they did for my 40th birthday, you know there would have been a big celebration,” he shared, “so we had a celebration.”

He wrote of the celebration, “A house full of family and friends who have witnessed many chapters of my life.” “The people who have come through for me time and again with love, loyalty, authenticity and understanding. It was a beautiful way to welcome 50,” he wrote at the end of the post, adding, “The Knicks won that night too.”

On Thursday, Hemings expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her husband on Instagram — including a video of him entertaining their daughters with a goofy rendition of “Happy Birthday” last fall.

In one snapshot, they hugged while wearing party hats. “My 40s have been overwhelming, yet I’m proud of how far I’ve come as a wife, mother, care partner, and advocate,” she wrote, adding that she’s also “proud of the work we’re doing through the Emma and Bruce Willis Fund and what’s to come.”

“Together, we are raising awareness of FTD, supporting caregivers, and advancing education and research,” she added.
