How to train your dragon 2 is on its way!
After almost three months of filming, writer/director Dean DeBlois announced in mid-May that principal photography had been completed.
“And that’s the end of HTTYD2! 81 days of principal photography are now complete. On to post-production. See you in June ’27!” he shared Instagramalong with a sneak peek photo.
HTTYD2 summary revealed
In the upcoming sequel, “when Hiccup and Toothless discover a secret ice cave filled with hundreds of wild dragons and a mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of an epic battle to save the future of humans and dragons!”
The new film will hit theaters on June 11, 2027, two years after the release of the first film.
