It appears that Mido wants to pursue His dream of becoming a film star In America he actually wants to marry Debbie, which he confirmed during the episode.
Mido attended an acting class, where she quarreled with the coach, Jim, because she did not want to follow the coach’s instructions during practice.
After practice, Jim told the camera, “If I had to grade Mido for her participation today, I would give her a C+. For emotional availability, she performed very well, but there is definitely room for improvement in being coached.”
During a conversation with Jim after class, Mido asked him for his opinion about going to hollywood To pursue acting. When Koch responded that there were plenty of aspiring actors who never achieved A-list stardom and that many had to take jobs to survive, Mido was having none of it.
He said, “I’m not trying to find another job because if I do another job it will probably take away my attention.” “I know Debbie, she will support me and she knows this is my passion.”
He also told Debbie that he couldn’t do chores around the house, like washing dishes or taking out the trash, because his “hands hurt sometimes.”
Later, Debbie and Mido dressed up as the Pharaoh and Queen to spend their first Halloween together in America, and although Debbie was excited because it was Mido’s first time meeting her friends, she was clearly not in the mood. Mido dismissively says that she doesn’t care whether her friends like her or not.
“Mido can go from one to 100 in five seconds. Whiplash of II. Can be great one minute, and something else the next minute,” Debbie tells the camera about her fiancé’s sudden cold attitude.
When the pair met Debbie’s friends at a haunted house, Mido was more interested in interacting with the haunted house cast than talking to her friends. The mood worsened when Debbie picked up one of her friends, Laura, for a ride home and Mido remained silent the entire car ride.
When Debbie got out of the car and returned, Mido became angry and started crying. She showed no sympathy towards him and refused to have a conversation about why he was being so rude, harshly telling him to concentrate on his driving and shutting him up.
Debbie refused and told him to take an Uber if that’s what he wanted, adding that she wouldn’t tolerate him yelling at her. Things escalated quickly and became explosive when Mido told Debbie, “F–k you.”
Debbie yelled that she was “totally f–king done with it” and Mido was “going home”, when a producer intervened and tried to defuse the situation.
Mido continued to yell and make fun of Debbie for crying and calling her a “b–ch.” She then said she needed to get out of her house because they were arguing outside the car. After telling Debbie to shut her mouth, one of her friends, Astra, intervenes, leading to a shouting match between Mido and Astra.
Mido yelled at her that she did not understand, while she responded by yelling, “In America you don’t treat women like that, motherf-ker!”
Mido ultimately refuses the engagement and sarcastically thanks Astra for showing her respect. Debbie eventually got back into the car and drove off alone, leaving Mido standing on the curb.
“F–k you,” she said to him for the last time as she walked away.
