After telling Debbie to shut her mouth, one of her friends, Astra, intervenes, leading to a shouting match between Mido and Astra.

Mido yelled at her that she did not understand, while she responded by yelling, “In America you don’t treat women like that, motherf-ker!”

Mido ultimately refuses the engagement and sarcastically thanks Astra for showing her respect. Debbie eventually got back into the car and drove off alone, leaving Mido standing on the curb.
