He tried to talk his way out of the situation. “(She says), ‘Oh, no, let us go,'” Meloni said, revealing that “all of a sudden a car comes by with a loud screech” in which the girls’ boyfriends were riding.
“I get distracted and one runs over – they both take off – and they jump in the car,” Melonie explainedBut his fight did not stop here.

“Then the guy in the back seat (says), ‘Slam her, hit her on the parked cars,'” he recalled. “He’ll try to run me over with parked cars. And I’m moving, because it’s fresh snow.”
Although the incident lasted “about three seconds”, Meloni was well aware that he could have been killed for a few pennies.
“It starts moving and you’re wondering when I can let go without getting trapped under the back wheels,” he shared. “Whatever it was, I finally let go. Fresh slap and punch.”
When Melonie was safely back on solid ground, she recalled being puzzled by the women’s intentions of running away to the burrow.
“I just remember, ‘What are you thinking? What are you doing?'” he said. “I mean, maybe for a bill of $45 or something.”

Meloni recalled that the man tore her shirt while trying to “be nice” and “talk her out” without incident.
“And he held me. I threw him on the ground and he grabbed my shirt. I said, ‘This feels great.’ I was like, ‘Just get out of here,'” Meloni told the podcast host ego nwodim. “He won’t get out of here.”
Luckily for Meloni, his taekwondo training “came in handy” and a side kick “knocked the wind out of him” and he had to leave the venue.
After college and working as a bouncer, Meloni found success in Hollywood in the late ’80s.
