Alicia Carmody responded to Brian Pontarelli‘s arrest and confirmation of the video of him And his former mistress on Sunday’s episode of Watch what’s happening live.
While she also teased the Real Housewives of Rhode Island reunion, responded Liz McGraw‘s drama with Jo-Ellen Tiberi38, and divided her rose and thorn from season oneAlicia, 41, looked back on the reproposal from her old partner, Billy Kitsilisaddressed Kelsey Swanson‘s megaphone stunt with Rosie DiMare35 and more.
“Brian is the gift that keeps on giving. I’m so entertained by that man,” Alicia began on the June 14 episode of WWHL.
As for Brian’s arrest, it came after he was caught following his wife Rulla PontarelliIn Alicia’s car, Alicia continued, “You would, Brian. I don’t know (why he followed her). Maybe because he wanted to know where she was to know what he was doing so he could be free.”
As for Brian, 49, he admits that the video of him and his ex-mistress allegedly Beth Walkerwas real, Alicia said she was “impressed.”
“He has to admit it. That’s the first step because people will respect you more,” she noted.
Moving on from the reunion, Alicia said Rulla, 46, had the most to answer for, Kelsey was the best dressed, and Rosie provided the most comedic relief. She then revealed that Jo-Ellen brought the most receipts and would be the one fans consider the MVP.
About Liz, 55, Alicia said she was the one with the meanest girl energy and the person who left with the most unresolved issues.
“I was so nervous I couldn’t feel my fingers, but after a while I thought, this is just normal,” she described her first reunion. “We all love each other, and we just have conversations. That’s it.”
Following the recording of the RHORI meetingAlicia said she dated Jo-Ellen, Rosie and Kelsey, 32, noting that Jo-Ellen and Rosie were the cast members she was closest to.
After being asked about her aunts, Alicia confirmed that they had not seen Liz after calling her for her treatment of Alicia, and spoke about the fame they have gained since appearing on the show. In addition to hosting a meet and greet and selling merchandise, the aunts were almost invited to appear alongside Alicia at the Bravo Clubhouse.
Although Jo-Ellen has suggested that she and Liz were “best friends”, Alicia denied this, saying: “I think they were very close. I don’t think they were best friends, but they were certainly very close.”
Speaking about their fight, she added that it “really affected her.”
“I hated that Liz was acting like that. I hated that Jo-Ellen was so sensitive about it, and I also felt sorry for Liz. Like it made me sad for her,” she explained.
Then, after being questioned about her rose and thorn, Alicia shared, “(My rose was) Billy getting down on his knee after 10 minutes, and I love him, and it made me realize as much as I loved him this season, it was really good for us. (And that was my thorn) I didn’t realize how sensitive I was, and I’m like, working on it…I do (have a quick recovery time to get over things), but if it’s not deep. I’m learning about how to deal with people who hurt me and who I really love.”
Alicia also reflected on Billy’s proposal, saying it was a “huge deal.”
“He’s not romantic, and I thought it was great that he was trying. After about ten minutes I said, ‘Billy, come on, you’ve got to work a little harder at it.’ He did. That was big,” she said.
She then admitted that driving is still not going ‘that well’.
“It’s just not for me. 15 minutes is my maximum,” she explained.
Later, on the WWHL: After the showAlicia was asked how she would have reacted if she were Rosie in her midst megaphone drama with Kelsey.
“I would have been the same way because I feel like my home is my safe place, and we don’t feel too comfortable with you showing up like that yet. So I get it,” she admitted.
As for the definition of a slampigthat Kelsey repeatedly called Rosie, Alicia confirmed that it was about a “huge whore.”
“That’s how I grew up. That’s what we said: a slam pig, Sally the slammer, Sally the slammer…Sally is a dirty girl,” she explained.
