Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the premiere of the long-awaited fifth installment of “toy story” more than a week after revealing that he had recorded a song for the film.

After Swift’s reveal on June 1, “Toy Story 5” visual effects supervisor Thomas Jordan revealed that only a handful of people knew Swift had a song in the film. Jordan said the singer saw an early version of the film in February, wrote a song and asked them if they wanted it.

The team then created a decoy version of “Toy Story 5,” one that didn’t include Swift’s song, so they could show it to Pixar/Disney employees and press the movie without spoiling the surprise. Jordan said that even most of the crew who worked on the film didn’t know about Swift’s involvement.

Despite the secrecy, eagle-eyed Swifties were quick to uncover several clues.

On April 30, Swift’s official website showed a countdown clock, but it quickly disappeared. However, those who saw it noticed that the background showed a blue sky with some puffy clouds, similar to the “Toy Story” wallpaper.

Later, the singer was seen in a sky blue dress combined with a yellow bag and red shoes, the characteristic colors of the “Toy Story” franchise. Then, billboards showing the initials “TS” with a background of sky and clouds appeared in different locations, sparking more speculation. However, it wasn’t until Swift’s Instagram post that the rumors were confirmed.

In a June 5 post, Swift wrote, “Being a Toy Story girl from age 5 until now… is an adventure I plan to live on, to infinity and beyond.”
