RHORI Reunion Recap: Rulla Calls Jo-Ellen a “Sl*t” and Accuses Her of Sleeping With Doctors

RHORI reunion recap: Rulla calls Jo-Ellen a "Sl*t" and accuses her of sleeping with doctors while Jo-Ellen threatens to break her nose; Liz claims Jo-Ellen and Alicia set her up, labels Jo-Ellen a "Psychopath," and Rosie and Kelsey go for it

Andy is ready to “grill up Rhode Island’s most iconic pearls.” The cast literally walks the plank to get to the set and prepares for what’s to come in part one of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island

Rulla went ahead and got her rhinoplasty and lip lift and Alicia I still can’t believe a “crackah” would get off the ground like that. One of the most organic things about this group is the history among them. Take for example Liz and Alicia. Liz literally remembers when Alicia was born!

But it took most viewers a minute to differentiate between the cast members. Liz doesn’t understand what was so difficult and says she doesn’t Dolores photo for plastic surgery inspo.

From today, Rosie still trying to coexist Kelsey. Kelsey was privy to a lot of information prior to filming and always resented Rosie’s competitive nature towards Kelsey. Their problem wasn’t because Rosie didn’t post after Kelsey cut her hair, but rather because Rosie posted everything before everyone else. Ashley interjects to say that Rosie thought the transaction was complete because Rosie paid Kelsey (and sent a nice text message).

Kelsey calls Rosie a silent killer who has been turning her on all season. The fighting escalated, especially when Rosie called Kelsey “slam pig.” Rosie explains that slam pig is a term she learned from one of Alicia’s friends. Apparently slam pig is “just a word you use when you’re angry.” Rosie doesn’t really think Kelsey is, but Kelsey came after everything in her life.

Rosie is tired of Kelsey taking time at her expense and yes, there IS a siren ordinance in her neighborhood (“I’m surprised you don’t know” – Rulla to Jo-Ellen). Rosie points out that Kelsey doesn’t even have a house, but Kelsey explains that it’s just the truth. And when it comes to Kelsey’s ex, Rosie reminds us that “the only other coworker he had was a girlfriend in Florida.” Phew.

Jo-Ellen and Kelsey wonder if Rosie slept with a coach… which was a hot topic on Reddit three and a half years ago. According to Rosie, the coach was having an affair with a student reporter at the time. But Jo-Ellen claims there was a cop who stopped the car with Rosie inside. It turns out this man had a DUI charge and Rosie’s name was on the police report.

Rosie continues to deny this and demands the police report. There has never been a photo or video of Rosie in a questionable position with this man! Jo-Ellen claims she spoke to a few officers who saw the police report and Rosie explains that Jo-Ellen herself didn’t see it because it’s NOT REAL. Liz thinks Rosie and Kelsey are more alike than they think, but Rosie doesn’t care where their future goes.

Liz’s cat has passed away since filming, but she’s now a grandmother…excuse me, a GiGi. When it comes to her family, Liz going from no children to three has truly changed her life. There was a time when she would have her own children with Jerry, but that time never came. Rulla explains that not having carried Jerry’s children does not make Liz any less of a mother.

But Rulla likes to stir the pot. She repeats the phrase, “When the cat is gone, the mice will play,” insinuating that Liz has cheated on her husband. Rulla certainly has a lot to say about Liz’s marriage. She knows Liz tried to fill her time with other things and other support systems. Rulla claims she knows nothing definitively and Liz demands to talk about what Rulla is referring to.

Rulla has seen Liz hanging out with other people having a good time, but Liz intervenes to say there was a time she was separated from Jerry and went to Block Island. She admits to meeting someone she hasn’t seen in thirty years, but the next day Jerry got a call from Rulla at six in the morning and Brian. Liz’s goal was for Jerry to find out she was with someone else (just not like this), but Rulla swears this is a blatant lie.

Rulla says that people have seen different things about Liz and Rulla points out that Jerry allegedly did his thing when they had problems. It appears that this infidelity in Liz’s marriage is not an isolated incident, according to Rulla.

As for the “persistent” comment Kelsey made to Liz, it seemed damaging and embarrassing to Liz because Kelsey was aware of the allegations. Despite Liz’s tough exterior, Alicia knows that Liz has “been through a lot.” She’s not one to mess with and Ashley calls Liz “an intimidating figure.” Liz admits she has a bold personality…

During the break, Rulla demands to talk to Jerry because she swears on her life that she didn’t do anything. Liz swats her away, claiming that Jerry doesn’t even know what day of the week it is. LOL.

Ashley’s cry count for the season put her at 7. We learn that Ashley moved to RI in 2021 and the only person she knew prior to the show was Rosie. Because Ashley is close to Rosie, she has never been invited to do anything by Kelsey. Ashley’s loyalty to Rosie shows how special their friendship is and Ashley becomes emotional as she talks about how Rosie fits their friendship into her lifestyle. BTW: Audrey’s is doing much better since the show, but the success makes it harder.

Currently, Jo-Ellen’s relationship with her mother is not going great. Additionally, Jo-Ellen was fired and believes that Brian calling her colleague certainly didn’t help the situation. Jo-Ellen has just decided that working is too much right now and that’s why she’s becoming a stay-at-home mom. Rulla intervenes, prompting Jo-Ellen to ask, “Why is she still here? She’s in three episodes.”

At the next break, Rulla pulls out Brian’s surgery records for the day the alleged cheating video was taken. Jo-Ellen reminds Rulla that Brian is the AI committee and they are at each other’s throats during the break until they are told to essentially save it for the cameras.

When Liz said that Alicia was not homeless, her intention was never to demean her feelings, but instead to try to protect her from the reaction of those who would not have taken kindly to it. She apologizes profusely to Alicia, who accepts it. Alicia says that having a shitty father embarrassed her and that she lost control of her emotions when Liz went through with it.

Liz points out that she wasn’t the one who brought it up in the car and that she felt ambushed because Jo-Ellen and Alicia “manufactured” this situation. Alicia wonders why she would do that narrate Liz, if it was on purpose! Alicia couldn’t catch her breath in the moment and denies ever telling Liz she was going to bring up that sensitive subject.

Jo-Ellen was surprised at how quickly the situation escalated and how long it continued. According to Liz, Jo-Ellen knew in advance that this would happen. Liz refuses to let Jo-Ellen win and doesn’t trust anything from Jo-Ellen. Jo-Ellen claims she tried to make it better by putting her hand on Liz. In fact, Jo-Ellen was desperately trying to keep Liz from looking crazy.

Andy lets them break for lunch. Jo-Ellen believes Liz has feelings of paranoia, while Liz feels ambushed. Jo-Ellen is fed up with Rulla interfering, but once the boys hit the set, things will really shake things up.

After the break, Liz explains that she was angry at Jo-Ellen for pushing her to discuss the conversation. However, Jo-Ellen wasn’t the one who attacked Alicia in the car. Alicia wonders what is going on with Liz and demands that she wake up. Alicia calls this a stupid conversation and if it had been a set-up, it would have been a lot better than that.

Liz calls herself “tactile defensive,” but explains that she pushed her and pulled her hair because she just wanted Jo-Ellen away from her. Jo-Ellen calls Liz a not nice person, but Liz wonders if it is normal behavior to have “your devil hands” on someone for three hours.

Liz wonders where this story comes from that she was once best friends with Jo-Ellen. Liz calls Jo-Ellen a “dangerous bastard” and says she “embodies something that” her soul rejects, despite celebrating Mother’s Day with her.

According to some of the cast, Jo-Ellen, Liz and Kelsey have a Cranston clique. Alicia became known as the flip-flopper and Rosie shares that there is a certain blind loyalty among the women. At the mansion, Kelsey pointed out that Rosie was “honest for the first time,” a little shady. Alicia explains that the ladies were trying to track down Alicia. Liz admits that sometimes they didn’t talk about Rosie, proving that Rosie has good reasons to be the ladies.

Additionally, Jo-Ellen went ahead and mocked Rosie’s “road trippin” videos with her own version of the segment. Rulla apparently can’t help herself and keeps throwing little jabs at the conversation, calling Jo-Ellen a slut who sleeps with doctors. Rulla says, “I don’t know what’s bigger: your mouth or what’s between your legs.” She calls Jo-Ellen a commodity, but Jo-Ellen doesn’t skip a beat, putting the spotlight of infidelity back on Rulla’s husband. Will these two ever figure out how to coexist just with Rosie and Kelsey?
