Princess Kate’s ex-boyfriend Rupert Finch attends Peter Phillips’ wedding

Photos from the weekend wedding of Peter Phillips and Harriet Spurling are another reminder that a certain class of British women have no sense of fashion. They are actually proud of looking old, ugly and older than their age. It’s a class indicator for them – as slim as they look, they are as posh. People had good reason to check out the photos of the wedding guests because, as it turned out, one of the Princess of Wales’s old boyfriends was there. During her college days, Kate briefly dated Rupert Finch and Finch attended Peter’s wedding with his posh wife Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs. Some people said he looks like Roger Federer and I can really see it! Finch also has full hair on his head.

The former boyfriend of the Princess of Wales was one of the glamorous guests at the wedding of Peter Phillips and Harriet Sparling in the Cotswolds on Saturday.

Rupert Finch reportedly dated Kate for just a year in 2001 when the pair were students at the University of St Andrews – before she won Prince William’s heart. Their relationship was also depicted in season six of The Crown, in which floppy-haired Rupert was played by actor Olly Green.

At the time of their romance, Rupert was in his fourth year of studies and after St Andrews, he graduated from the College of Law in Guildford.

It seems that friendly relations remain between the former lovers, as Rupert was invited to William and Kate’s royal wedding at Westminster Abbey in London in April 2011.

Two years later, Rupert married Lady Natasha, daughter of the 4th Marquess of Reading, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs. Their wedding ceremony in Cirencester in June 2013 was attended by Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry’s former girlfriend Cressida Bonas.

Natasha is no stranger to royal circles, as she and Lavinia Brennan are the founders of ethical fashion brand Beulah London. Her dresses have been admired by blushing bride Harriet Spurling as well as the Princess of Wales, the Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Beatrice.

Actually I had no idea about the connection to Beulah London. Kate wears Beulah London all the time, and I think it’s on purpose, to support her ex-boyfriend’s posh, aristocratic wife. interesting. I mean, Prince William’s social circle is filled with ex-girlfriends and rumored (shall we say) “affairs.” So it’s interesting that Kate also has an ex-girlfriend in these circles. Kate could have found a man with good hair! Kate could marry someone who looks like Roger Federer!
