Alannah Keyser speaks out.
A week ago, the 21-year-old made her debut on Love Island USA like a bombshell, but her shine was quickly overshadowed when the skeletons in her closet were revealed online. ICYMI, social media sleuths quickly unearthed examples of Alannah uses racist comments – especially the N-word – in several past situations, including in a video of her singing the lyrics Roddy Rich‘S The box. Due to the controversy, Love Island fans immediately started calling for her removal from the show… And now it has happened.
Four days after she made her debut on the reality dating show, narrator Iain Stirling announced the Instagram model had left the villa:
“Welcome back to Love Island USA. Alannah has left Casa Amor.’

And now that the dust has settled on her departure, she is speaking out. In one TikTok shared on Saturday, Alannah told followers:
“I want to start by addressing the video of me singing along to a Roddy Ricch song that contains a racial slur. I’m sorry to anyone who saw that video and was offended by it. That was never my intention. The video is from six years ago, and that word is just not in my vocabulary anymore.”
She went on to discuss the screenshots circulating of her, seemingly with the same slur, claiming they were “faked.”
“What has been shared does not reflect the truth, and it is never in my character to discriminate against the color of anyone’s skin. I want to say right away that I do not and never have supported racism or discrimination of any kind.”
Alannah continued to reflect on the disastrous situation:
“When I first found out that these things were going around online, it really broke my heart and there was nothing I could do about it. But this has definitely been a learning lesson for me, and it sucks that I didn’t get the chance to really show my personality and who I am.”

People has since learned that the video of Alannah making racist comments was not available online during the filming Peacockthe vetting process. Phew… Before I spoke out, Alannah’s father Stephane Keyser defended her and told TMZ she’s not racist and is actually an “educated sweetheart.”
