Jonathan Scott Targets Daytime TV With New Talk Show Pilot: REPORT

The working title is Better! With Jonathan Scott, although that could change before the show reaches viewers.

The show is expected to focus on helping audiences improve different aspects of their lives, combining lifestyle tips, expert advice and celebrity interviews.

According to the program description, Better! aims to “inspire the public with new ideas for living better, while having fun doing it.”

The pilot is scheduled to film later this month and could be considered for distribution as early as fall 2027.

A new face for the day?

Scott’s move comes at an interesting time for daytime television.

The genre has been looking for new personalities and new formats, especially after the recent announcements that The Kelly Clarkson Show and sherri pastorTheir daytime talk show would be ending.

That leaves considerable opportunity for new talent to step in.

CBS Media Ventures already has a strong presence in daytime through programs including The Drew Barrymore Show, Entertainment tonight, Danger! and wheel of fortune.

Now, the company appears to be betting that Scott’s popularity can translate beyond home renovations.
