filmed live capture of hadestown is coming to theaters and the trailer has just started!
After his recent debut in 2026 Tribeca Film FestivalThe film will be released theatrically later this summer with the original stars of the Broadway show.
The upcoming pro shot was filmed with the original Broadway principals during the production’s performance on the West End in London – reeve carney (Orpheus), andre de shields (Hermes), amber gray (Persephone), eva noblezada (Euridice) and patrick page (Hades).
Here’s the synopsis: The genre-defying musical blends American folk music with New Orleans-inspired jazz to re-imagine a sweeping ancient story. Following two intertwined love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone – Hadestown: The Musical invites audiences on a hell-trip to the underworld and back.
Six years after the show debuted on Broadway, the musical’s original Broadway stars reunite for a limited run on the West End in February and March 2025.
If you remember, to strengthen And eva actually met while doing a broadway show Married in October 2025. He also acted in Cabaret together in London, and are currently back on Broadway starring in the great Gatsby Together.
Hadestown: The Musical It will be released in theaters for five nights only from July 24.
