Her backstory is that Ari, Sophia, and Holly were thick as thieves growing up, but then at the time of Sophia’s supposed death, she was at odds with both Holly and Ari because of how Sophia tried to ruin Holly’s life. It was about Sophia’s continuing obsession with Tate. And because Ari and Holly said nasty but accurate things about Sophia on social media, Amy blames them both, but even more so Holly, for Sophia’s death because of it.

Now, Amy didn’t even back away when Beautiful black (Martha Madison) told Amy that there was not enough evidence to arrest Holly for involuntary manslaughter. And then Amy got even angrier when Belle pointed out that her researchers found It was Sophia herself. who started that social media post inviting people to say hateful things about her. That was not something Amy would accept or believe and it is clear that she is still in denial about her daughter.

And this week, Sophia’s mom had a heart-to-heart conversation with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). And with criminal charges off the table, Amy now wants to file a civil wrongful death lawsuit against Holly. But after Amy confronted Holly and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) found his former stepdaughter crying in the square, he made a promise. Then EJ told Holly that he would take care of Amy himself. And that was before Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) inserted himself into the conversation uninvited and was trying to scare EJ away from Holly.
Then when Ari and Holly were at brady pub, That’s when Sarah found out about the unpleasant confrontation with Amy Choi. And then Holly also told Sarah that EJ told her that he would take care of Amy for her. Plus, Xander was very protective too. Sarah knows that Holly needs some time to just have fun and not think about all this extra traumatic drama that Amy is trying to inflict on Holly.
So for now, Ari and Holly are really looking forward to going to Horton’s cabin to get some rest. I also suspect Tate and Aaron will go on vacation with the teen scene. You know, teen scene, 20-year-olds. But when Ari and Holly go up there, they might find an unexpected and unwanted guest lurking around. And we have to wonder, will the girls find Sophia Choi there?
Days of our lives: Is Sofia alive or dead?
Now, we still don’t know if Amy’s daughter is alive or dead. After Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) tricked Sophia into trying to kill Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and promised her a new start and that she could leave town, things got complicated very quickly because Kristen got Sophia to meet her at that remote place by the river.
And then, of course, Kristen broke a rock in Sophia’s skull. And then Kristen had her goons throw Sophia over the edge into the water. and Salem police have searched. They also sent search and rescue divers, but no one has yet found Sophia’s body in the Salem River or I found her alive somewhere.

So this could mean that Amy’s daughter somehow survived or, you know, Sophia could have floated down the river from where Kristen threw her into the cold water. And we’ve seen Sophia a couple of times since then, but it was basically Kristen freaking her out. And I think he was dating Sophia because of Kristen’s guilty conscience.
But we also know that Sophia’s interpreter, Rachel Boyd, was dropped from her contract at the end of April and her name was removed from the closing credits. However, it is common practice for soaps to do that. Even if a character isn’t gone forever and is just gone for now, sometimes they are.
Also, as you know, days of our lives It’s a revolving door of characters coming and going. And in Peacock soap, as with Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) and EJ and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and many others, not even death is an obstacle to returning to the soap opera. So even if Sophia is dead, she could still come back, but she may actually be alive.

It would be nice to have closure, though, and Holly and Ari may find her at the cabin. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sophia somehow survived the ordeal Kristen put her through and has been hiding and simply biding her time to strike when the time is right. Additionally, Sophia would have needed time to recover from hitting her head with a large old rock.
We also have more information about this summer promotion thing because, if you think about it, only a couple of people know about it. Kristen made a deal with Sophia so she can eliminate Johnny. There were the two of them and there was the henchman, you know, but in the long promo, we have EJ getting angry at Kristen and you’ll see EJ attacking his sister for trying to kill his son Johnny.
And you have to wonder, how does EJ find out what Kristen was doing? You know, it could be that Holly and Ari’s little vacation at the Horton cabin shows Sophia or her body. I don’t know the geography around Salem to know where the river is compared to the cabin, but if it’s downriver it would make sense.
Foul play test rules out suicide in the days
After Kristen hit her on the head and her thugs threw Sophia into the water, she Salem River It should have slowed the bleeding from the head wound and she could have floated and floated to shore and then Sophia could have crawled back to the cabin if she had survived. Or Sophia could have gotten stuck downstream and Holly, Ari, and the kids could stumble upon her body while walking or boating near the cabin, which would be unsettling.
But an autopsy would show that Sophia was the victim of homicide, not suicide, due to the crack in the back of her skull. There might have been some text messages or some calls between Kristen and Sophia on that burner phone of hers. And the bottom line is that there could be evidence linking Kristen to Sophia. It feels too random that Sarah just gets up and sends Ari and Holly to the Horton cabin so nothing happens. So, I feel like that’s out of line. We haven’t seen that cabin in a long time. And especially since we know that EJ soon finds out that Kristen tried to kill Johnny. I feel like this is what puts us on that path. Hopefully they find Sophia alive because if it’s a dead body, at that point it’s going to be quite the horror show and you’d hate for the kids to trip over that.
