In October 2025, a month before the final season of “Stranger Things” began airing, Harbor’s ex-wife, Lily Allen, released the thriller album “West End Girl.” For an actor who had long been open about his struggle with bipolar disorder, a catastrophic mental health emergency, a moment that should have been a triumph turned out to be a milestone. Months later, Harbor is reemerging in the public eye; He is ready to talk about it all.
“West End Girl” dropped like a grenade. While Allen has stated that the album uses “artistic license” and stated in an interview, “I don’t think I can say it’s all true,” the lyrics about extramarital activity, violation of agreed arrangements and emotional manipulation set the Internet on fire. “It was weird,” Harbor says now in his first public comments about the album. “I believe it is every artist’s prerogative to use their experience to create art, and so I respect them for doing so.” Allen has shed light on the details of his life and the lives of loved ones throughout his career. (His 2006 debut record includes the song “Alfie,” which features his brother, future “Game of Thrones” actor Alfie Allen, as an aimless pot smoker.) Harbour, who wasn’t a name actor before the “Stranger Things” explosion, has strong boundaries. “I can’t really say anything more than that,” he says, “because it’s my private life. Despite the fact that a lot of people don’t allow me to have a private life – I value it. And I also value the lives of the people I interact with privately. I just won’t talk about it.”
I say the door is open to counter any claims made by Allen. He won’t do that, but he has another idea to share. He says, “The stories are complex, and that’s why I say I respect their art creation for conveying their experience. That was not my experience.” Plus, he’s no stranger to turning life into art. “My ability to utilize my experience came in handy in the making of ‘DTF’,” he says. Floyd just wants to feel loved and as if he has the ability to share love. Harbor can demonstrate unusual humility to the world. “I want to make things that make people feel safe. My special talent is in making people feel like they’re not alone.”

I’m not surprised David took this stance and it’s the best possible response he could have given. it is dave coulier approach Acknowledging that the woman he wronged is entitled to her feelings, and that earns more goodwill than being angry or combative. I wonder if he thinks he got off easy and doesn’t want to rock the boat because he knows Lily still has the receipts.
Oh, and I laughed too when I read David’s quotes about his experience through DTF. I know he was talking about the show, but the title is a reference to Acronyms. My mind is dirty and it has given a different twist to that answer. Anyway, David also confirmed that he missed most of December stranger things promotion because he was in the midst of a breakdown. However, it seems like he is in a good place right now. I hope he remains well.
