Danniella Westbrook has ‘no bone’ on one side of her face during reconstruction journey


The former Eastenders actress admitted she still has to undergo several surgeries.

Danniella Westbrook has revealed how many surgeries she still has to undergo as she continues with Facial reconstruction journey. However, while talking about the upcoming procedures, the 52-year-old made a shocking statement about her face.

East Eastenders’ The star has taken steps on several occasions to repair the damage caused by years of drug addiction. Earlier this year, the star had her entire face, neck and brows as well as nose and lips rebuilt in Dubai.

However, while the actress says she has already undergone “countless surgeries”, she has now revealed that she still requires six more procedures over the next 18 months, reports mirror. Speaking about his experience with Vanessa Feltz on her Channel 5 show, he confessed that his face needed to be “remodeled”.

Opening up about his journey so far, Daniela Said: “I think I’m coming in for surgery number six at the moment. Five or six will be this Thursday. So it’s quite scary. I’ve had a number of surgeries to reconstruct and repair my face. I think osteoporosis has set into my bones as I’ve grown up.”

according to NHSOsteoporosis is a health condition that weakens the bones, making them brittle and more likely to break. Although this condition usually develops slowly over many years, it is usually only diagnosed when a bone is broken or fractured due to a fall or sudden impact.

Sharing more details about her journey, Daniella shocked many viewers when she confessed she has “no bones” on one side of her face. He added, “So they have to reconstruct all of my bones. Right now it’s a filler, but they actually have to make a metal bone.”

While the mother of two recently shared this on Instagram ‘Happy than ever’ with her new look Following her last serious facial surgery, Daniela has revealed what work still needs to be done.

Speaking to Vanessa, she said: “The next thing they’re doing is like a hair lip reversal because my lip is now so high up where it’s pulling like that.

“So I have to do it from the inside, cut a flap from the inside of my cheek, turn it round and then bring it in from there and attach it because I don’t want a scar on the outside of my face.

“There are 18 more months post-surgery. I have surgery about every two and a half, three months.”

This year, the now talent agent also revealed that she will undergo three sessions with an advanced CO2 fractional laser to improve the texture of her skin as well as help tackle blemishes and fine lines.

The Sam Mitchell star is on a long road to rebuilding his features after his septum collapsed following drug abuse in 1999.

However, not all procedures over the years have been beneficial as Daniella previously admitted that she almost died due to a failed operation and suffering from severe osteoporosis.

Back in 2018, she said: “They have to take a piece of bone out of my skull and put a plate on my face, but they don’t have anything to stick the plate on at the moment because the bone isn’t strong enough.

“The bone would not close around the screw so they took me out of the house to the dentist three times, which was not for them, because the pain was so bad.”
