RHORI’s Alicia Carmody Calls Out Liz McGraw on Instagram Spat: ‘Keep Me and My Family’s Name Out of Your Mouth’

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island star Liz McGraw recently appeared on Watch what’s happening live.

While there, she was asked what point she was trying to make by insisting on a co-star Alicia Carmody was never homelesseven though Alicia said she did.

“From what I ever knew about Alicia and her family, they sold that house together, renovated it with the grandparents in one of the most upscale neighborhoods in Rhode Island, and they all moved in with the dad,” Liz said.

She noted that this was what she came into the show knowing.

“And despite everything I ever knew about Alicia, she always had love around her, she was always dressed in the best designers,” Liz continued. “So when I heard the word homeless, it was a knee-jerk reaction.”

Liz insisted she was trying to “prevent” Alicia from receiving “any local backlash” from those who knew the facts.

“So just like back then, it would be like saying to me now in front of all these people, ‘Liz, I’ve been, you know, pretending to be gay all these years, but I’m really straight,'” she told the host. Andy Cohen. “I’d have the same reaction. I’d say, ‘You’re never straight!’ You know? That’s who I am.”

Liz reiterated that it was a “kneejerk reaction” but that it was not “borne of malice.”

“I didn’t know where she was going, I didn’t know how far she was going with it, and I never meant to minimize her feelings,” Liz added. “I always just wanted to protect Alicia.”

After Liz’s appearance, Alicia took to Instagram and said, “I’m joining the conversation about my funny life story. I need to tell it. I think Liz needs to worry about her story and leave me and my family’s name out of her mouth. It’s becoming obsessive.”
