Economy class It’s never the most comfortable experience. But when one woman documented her experience flight economy in air france for him first timeThe spectators were divided.
On TikTok, users have shared their first-class experiences on all types of planes, including United and Spirit Airlines. But Daphne Blunt (@daphneblunt_)’s video is a little different, as she shared her most degraded experience and not the other way around.
She began the video, which has garnered 838,700 views, by saying, “I’m flying coach for the first time in my life. I’m literally so scared.”
He then showed his ticket to the camera when a second voice told him: “Everything will be okay.”
“Pray for me,” Daphne added. She then went to label her bag, admitting that she had never labeled bags before.
“I paid for extra legroom,” he added.
“What do we do now? Shall we take our own suitcases there?” Daphne asked next. “Isn’t there anyone there to do it for you?”
Then he took his bags to the scanner and put one on the ramp. From there, he discovered that the bag was overweight and that he would have to pay.
Then it was time to start boarding. He explained that he was in Zone 4 when he thought only A was there.
“Plus, I don’t normally get on the plane,” he added.
She then asked her friend if there was food service, and the friend confirmed it and also added that there were drinks. Daphne responded that she would abstain. “Is the seat really small?” she asked her friend. To which she replied that it is “normal.”
She then showed her friend repacking her bag along with pictures of her sitting on the bus.
What was the actual Air France trip like?
Once she finally reached her seat, Daphne was unimpressed. She shared a screen recording of herself texting: “This seat is so small lmao. And so upright.”
Then things went from bad to worse. While she was eating fries, someone behind her hit her on the head. She hit her face on her seat. The camera then panned to an emergency exit next to her, revealing that she got the exit seat.
The final part of the flight showed her putting on sunglasses and grabbing her bag.
After the flight, Daphne was speechless.
“That was…” she began, before the other woman chimed in and said: I’ve flown coach several times. I’m not going to lie, that was bad for me. Bad, bad.”
The friend added: “I don’t want to go into details, but people were causing a lot of drama.”
Daphne then continued to complain that her chair only moved back an “inch,” while the other woman vowed, “I will never fly coach again.”
The TikToker summed up the experience as “horrible” and added that it was the “worst hour of (her) life.”
“I’m alive and now we can go to one of the most beautiful hotels in the world, so…” she concluded.

What did the commentators say?
The commentators weren’t sure. One asked: “Is he being real or…”
“You’re doing too much girl…” added a second.
While a third asked: “Guys is this satire or?”
“Please don’t ever downgrade again,” added a fourth. “You’re stressing me out.”
While a fifth said: “Who is this diva? I wish I could have these kinds of problems.”
The comments also clarified that Daphne traveled via Air France from Paris to Nice. BroBible contacted Air France via email.
Should we get rid of economy class?
Blunt is not the only one who has an interest in fighting the economic class. in a reddit In a post on the r/The10thDentist subreddit, one user defended the economy class ban altogether.
“The economy class sections on all major airlines are getting worse and worse as time goes on,” they explained. “Corporate greed always seems to find a way to squeeze in more seats for maximum profit, and yet the size of the planes remains the same. And who suffers? The passenger experience.”
They argued that people who fly on airlines “will spend money anyway out of convenience” and argued that, contrary to common belief, airlines are not and should not be “for everyone,” especially when sea and land travel exists.
“People pay to travel by plane because it is the fastest and most comfortable, regardless of the price,” they noted.
“So instead of pretending that most people who use economy class will never transition to business or first class, make these more comfortable seats available to more passengers willing to pay the price.”
However, other Redditors were largely against the idea.
“You say the customer experience is affected, but you don’t consider the alternatives. What is better for the customer, traveling by accessible air or not traveling at all?” one asks. “I know you mentioned land and sea travel, but these have significant disadvantages. Firstly, they are very slow in comparison, a 2 hour flight can easily take over 10 hours by car, train or bus, and even longer by boat. Secondly, flights are by far the best option in many cases. I am in Australia. If I want to visit any other country, land vehicles are out of the question. Unless you want to spend weeks on a ship, so is sea transit. The only option viable is the air”.
A second added: “He also doesn’t realize that the roads in other countries aren’t as safe as the ones he lives on. I was born and live in the US, but my family and I visited my dad’s side of the family in Mexico. After a scare on the road last year where we were chased by two cars that tried to stop us. We will never drive there again.”
