Journalist speaks badly of Bosnia before the match against the United States
Bosnian bigots are not happy with an American journalist talking down to them.
On Friday, ABC 7 LA reporter Abigail Vélez began badmouthing Bosnian fans while previewing the United States’ upcoming World Cup game against Bosnia.
“Next round, Team USA is going to play Bosnia, and one thing about Bosnia is that I can’t point out where it is on a map, and I don’t know anything about Bosnia, and I don’t want to know because Team USA is back and better than ever. Get ready, Bosnia, because you don’t want it that way.”

Bosnian fans criticized the journalist for her ignorant trash talk.
“If the United States is infected with such cultural arrogance, many people already understand it. If the United States is internally focused, considers world geography lessons unimportant and has poor knowledge of geography, many people already know this. But for a journalist to say something like that is truly unprofessional, tone-deaf and chauvinistic. Why be proud to flaunt anti-intellectualism or, in more polite terms, stupidity?” a fan commented
“Yes, I would fire this person immediately.” said another fan
Even American fans were embarrassed by the journalist’s trash talk.
