Lindsay Hubbard discusses the future of Summer House and plans for the OGs to move on from the show

Lindsay Hubbard hinted at her future Summer house And In the city. She also accused WestWilson of trying to ‘drive’ all the fans to his podcast, and she recalled her previous conversations with West and Jesse Solomon.

In the midst of being controversial relationship of Amanda BatulaWest left the Summer house form. But on his Show me something podcast, which he seemingly revealed more about the romance than what he shared during the actual show. He also expressed hope that it would overshadow the NBA Finals Summer house‘s bonus episode.

In an interview for Gabben with Gib, recorded on June 9, Lindsay was asked about her future Summer house and its new spin-off, In the city.

“It’s a lot (doing two shows),” Lindsay said. “Let me just put it this way. The plan was that last year would be the transition year. And the new plan is that this year would be the transition year.”

Although she didn’t clarify, Lindsay seemingly suggested she’ll be on for another season Summer housemaybe for the last time, but she continues In the city.

At one point, Lindsay shaded West’s recent podcast claims.

“I think he’s on his podcast and really chatting because he doesn’t have another job,” she said via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram. “So now he’s trying to get all the viewers to his podcast. And it’s like we know what you’re doing.”

Host Gibson Johns shared his theory that West turned his “sports podcast” into a “Summer house podcast.”

“Right,” Lindsay agreed. “He wasn’t talking about it Summer house ever before until he changed direction because now he wants the viewers and the listeners and all that. It’s, I said it before, I’ll say it again. We can see right through you.”

Lindsay said she initially thought she was handing over the card Summer house reins to the West, Ciara Molenaar and Jes.

“I had so many side conversations with West and Jesse, mainly like, OK, here’s the baton, I’m passing the baton to you, you have to act now,” she recalled. “Gone are the days where your biggest storyline is that you can’t flush your recycling away before you recycle it. Gone are the days where you now have to have opinions, stand behind them, and do things.”

“You can’t sit back and relax and enjoy the ride anymore. You’ve been here for three years, now it’s time,” she added. “I didn’t have to have that conversation with Ciara because I think she’s been so vulnerable and open and honest every year this year, and I’m so proud of her for doing that. I think she’s on a great path.”
