As we discussed, another thing to see at this year’s Trooping the Color Drastic decline in interest, viewership and attendance. The biggest reason for declining interest is that the British media cannot muster the courage to talk about television viewership or attendance numbers. It also felt like broadcasters and photographers were strongly discouraged from showing detailed shots of the sparse crowd outside Buckingham Palace, let alone detailed shots of that sparse AF balcony.
In addition to all this dilemma, the Republic’s anti-monarchy protesters arrived in droves. The Republic has stepped up its protests over the past four years, and those yellow signs and “Not my King” chants have basically become part of every major royal event these days. Well, the Princess of Wales is understandably fuming that Republic protesters would dare insult her and her children. A clip of Kate glaring at the protesters is doing the rounds everywhere. Even British outlets like gb news And the sun is covering it.
Kate Middleton looks angry and the kids look completely uncomfortable and confused, being booed while splashing colours. If looks can kill. Princess Kate didn’t like it. pic.twitter.com/5Vz1ymbhf6

The British royal family and the British media happily opened Pandora’s box, right? They thought they could encourage people to lash out at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, that they could throw Harry and Meghan to the wolves and those wolves would never attack them. Once the left made it clear that their protests and noise were welcome, they opened themselves up to all this. I think we’ll get a fresh emotional-support survey by Thursday. Never mind Kate’s White Walker glow, she’s the most popular royal ever, we swear!
