
Tarek and Heather El Moussa felt “violated” when a suspect broke into their Southern California home while they were on vacation.
The reality stars’ Newport Beach home was broken into earlier this week while the couple was on vacation in Mexico with their family.
Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary near the Mariners community just after 6 p.m. on June 8, officials confirmed to Fox News Digital.
“While the victim was away, the unknown suspect approached the backyard of the property and broke the rear sliding glass door to gain entry to the home,” officials told Fox News Digital.
“Inside the residence, the suspects ransacked the primary bedroom closet before fleeing through the backyard, side of the house, and into the front yard.”

Authorities believe the home invasion occurred between June 6 and June 8.
The Newport Beach Police Department does not currently have any suspects identified in this case.
Representatives for Tarek and Heather did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
The couple reacted to the incident on social media on Tuesday.
“Hate at some of the cruel heartless people in this world,” Heather wrote on Instagram Stories, tagging her husband.
“Tarek and I feel humiliated and honestly really hurt. Taking a break for a few days and will be back to clarify soon.”
“We are safe and the children are safe,” he said.
The couple welcomed son Tristan in January 2023. Tarek was married to fellow HGTV star Christina Haack for seven years before finalizing their divorce in 2018.
They co-parented two children – daughter Taylor and son Braden – and starred together after their divorce HGTV’s “The Flip Off.”
