The singer heads to Miami to cheer on the Scots in their game against Brazil following her TRNSMT show on Sunday
Amy Macdonald has taken to Instagram to speak out over Scotland’s ‘terrible’ result against brazil On Wednesday evening.
Scots singer who performed TRNSMT of Glasgow on Sunday before flying to Miami to boost excitement steve clarke’s Team shared a video of herself hanging out in South Florida with her husband Richard Foster.
The 38-year-old filmed herself talking to the camera and said: “Well it’s really great here. It was a terrible football result but I mean who can expect anything else really, let’s be honest.”
She laughed and said sarcastically: “It’s just about taking part” and finally added: “It’s beautiful here so it was worth it.”
Despite their loss, the pair are still walking around in their team’s colors in Miami. Amy shared another clip, in which Foster can be seen standing on the edge of the pavement, wearing a matching striped blue two-piece and light blue trainers, as she said: “Crying that Fodz is better dressed than me.”
When Amy turned the camera, she was also wearing a long-sleeved blue collared shirt top.
The singer-songwriter arrived in Miami earlier this week before the game. She shared a post on Instagram in which she is standing outside a Miami stadium wearing a Scotland top, Adidas tartan kilt skirt and a Saltire flag on top of her bag.
He captioned the picture, “I am very proud of my small country. What a pleasure to be here.”
Scotland were beaten 3-0 by Brazil on Wednesday evening (24 June), a heartbreaking defeat for the Tartan Army.
The country is now waiting to know whether the team will advance to the knockout stage as the best-ranked third-place team.

There is still a glimmer of hope though, with several players and Clarke already saying they are confident they will go home.
Amy attended the match with her former Scottish footballer husband Richard Foster, commonly known as Fozz.
The now 40-year-old coach is a retired professional right-back who played for clubs including Aberdeen, Rangers, St Johnstone and Partick Thistle.
The pair got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2016 and tied the knot in Las Vegas two years later.
Amy and Richard currently live in a property near Glasgow; The singer is originally from Bishopbriggs while the former footballer is from Elgin in the Scottish Highlands.
