Big brother 27 winner Ashley Hollis wants Rachel Reilly back for season 28, along with a group of other legends, but she doesn’t want more recent houseguests to return just yet. Rumors are circulating Big brother 28 Possible returning players when it premieres on July 9, so there’s been a lot of speculation about who they could be.
Rachel returned to Big brother 27 in 2025 after finishing 9th Big brother 12 and win Big brother 13. In Big brother 27she managed not to make herself a target of the new players, but instead befriended many of them and outsmarted her enemies. Rachel was on track to possibly win the game for the second time, but an unexpected event saw her eliminated in an unconventional manner.
During the White Locust twist, Rachel lost the Hamster Wheel competition, meaning she was automatically eliminated from the game, instead of being evicted in the traditional manner. Despite much outcry from fans over the unfairness of this twist, Rachel left the house and became the first member of the jury.
Come in later Big brother 27Ashley made it to the Final 3 with Vince Panaro and Morgan Pope. She won the last two parts of the Head of Household (HOH) competition and brought Vince to the end with her. Ashley won the match 6 to 1, with only Morgan voting for Vince. It was a come-from-behind victory, as Ashley had only won one other competition all season: the Power of Veto in Week 1. However, her social game made her the judges’ favorite. Now Ashley is considering who to use Big brother 28 when former guests actually return.

In an X message, Ashley expressed her wish list for returning houseguests Big brother 28which includes some of the most legendary players of all time. She wrote, “I hope this year’s bb28 cast includes more personalities like the goats: Rachel, Danielle, Janelle, Brittany, Dan, Dr. Will. We need people who are not only good at compositions but can also bring personality and spice to the table. I’d love OGs vs. half a new cast (fire emoji) #bb28.”
Rachel Reilly, Danielle Reyes, Janelle Pierzina, Britney Haynes, Dan Gheesling and Dr. Will Kirby are some of the most iconic guys to ever step foot in the world. Big brother house.

Ashley wants to see her guy Big brother 27 house guest Rachel gets another chance after being eliminated in the White Locus twist. She wrote, “And throw @RachelEReilly back on bc. I feel like she deserves some redemption for the way she went out on bb27 (crying emoji).” Rachel’s elimination was highly controversial as many fans felt it was completely unfair for her to leave without the chance to redeem herself through the Power of Veto or talk her way out of it through her social game. However, others felt that the rules of the Hamster Wheel were made very clear, and she volunteered to participate in the competition, which she lost.

When asked which guests are coming from Big brother 23 to 27 she would like to see back for Big brother 28Ashley said she doesn’t want to see them back yet, but has made a list of possible returnees for the future. She wrote, “On bb28, I personally don’t want to see any recent houseguests return. But further down the line bb27: Vince (Panaro), Jimmy (Heagerty), Morgan (Pope), Rachel (Reilly), Mickey (Lee), bb26: Brooklyn (Rivera), Tucker (Des Lauriers), Angela (Murray), bb24 Joseph (Abdin) & Michael (Bruner), bb23 Hannah (Chaddha)/Tiffany(Mitchell)/DX (Derek Xiao) I’ve only seen a few episodes.”
Big brother 27 houseguest Mickey Lee died on December 25, 2025 at the age of 35 after a series of cardiac arrests due to complications from the flu. Ashley most likely wanted to pay tribute to Mickey by including her in her list of houseguests she would have liked to see return to the game.
Ashley has a few nice ideas for Big brother 28. It would be exciting to see her choices for OG Big brother legends return to play against new houseguests. These icons would immediately become the target of the new participants, as they have done in the past when this idea was used, but the addition of the BB Blockbuster, which prevents backdooring, could add a whole new level of gameplay to the concept. Ashley didn’t include herself in her list of returnees, but it would be intriguing to see her return to play as well. No matter what happens, fans need to do that “expect the unexpected” by Big brother 28.
