In the aforementioned Collider interview, the comedian revealed that he had shot the “first act” about four or five months earlier. He also had exciting news for fans of his character. “Donkey is getting his own movie. We’re going to make Donkey too,” he said, although he said he hadn’t started recording the audio for it yet.
